Currently, ZMax running Android Marshmallow 6.0 so now this update will come with Android Nougat 7.0 firmware. If you remember, ZTE already released Android 7.0 Nougat last year in 2K16 for Axon 7 to give Android 7.0 experience to Axon 7. Now in this new year, ZTE decided to release a beta testing program for their Zmax pro users. In order to get the beta program, all the users of Z community have to register for their beta testing program.Those who got chosen for the program, they have to test bugs, several debugging tests, and also have to complete surveys.It’s a comparatively little value to pay tho’ for early access to Android 7.0 also this small contribution will help the community.
ZTE needs the user to be living within the U.S, should sign an NDA, capture logs once asked for, give full bug reports, and complete all assigned tasks on time. Once again, this beta program is simply for the ZMAX professional and if you’re elect, you may get to most likely attempt nougat package. While we do not have any plans to push Android Nougat to the ZMAX PRO right now, we continue to seek feedback from consumers on all of our devices so we can enhance the user experience, which is what we are doing here.
