The device is all set to get the Android 10 updates in coming weeks and there are reports that the Android 10 update is already under testing. The company may soon start the beta rollout for the device. Xiaomi does not have a good track record when it comes to updating its budget devices to the latest mobile OS. But some users are still hopeful that the device will get the latest Android 11 a.k.a Android R update in future.
