According to a Sammobile report, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is receiving One UI 3.1.1 update in Canada, Germany, South Korea, and the UK. It brings the next month’s security patch and the new features bundled with the latest version of One UI. The software update comes with firmware version F916BXXU2EUH5 for Germany and UK users, F916WVLU2EUH5 for Canadian users, and F916NKSU1DUH5 for South Korean users. One UI 3.1.1 update is mainly focused on foldable phones, as it brings a bunch of new features for foldable phones. The list of new features includes – Customized App Aspect Ratios, App Split View, Drag & Split, Multi-Active Window, Cover Screen Mirroring, and more.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 users in the specified regions have already started receiving the new update. If you have not received it yet, then manually update your phone by navigating to Settings » Software update and then tap on Download and Install. Today, Samsung through its community forum announced that the One UI 4.0 beta program will go live for Galaxy S21 series in September. Talking about Galaxy Z Fold 2, it was released last year with Android 10 out of the box and received the Android 11 update this year. According to the company’s software update policy, the device is also eligible for Android 12 upgrade.
